Day 2 - Exploring Armenia's Historical Context, Geopolitical Landscape, and Security Concerns. Visiting Yerevan Brandy Factory
We will begin with a group introduction, followed by a presentation of the trip program and an overview of Armenia’s history and political developments, focusing on its geopolitical complexity.
Next, we will embark on a walking tour through Yerevan to explore the city's rich history and vibrant culture, visiting key sights such as Republic Square, the Cascade, the Opera House, the Blue Mosque, and Vernissage, among others.
Later, we will visit the Yerevan Brandy Factory, where we will learn about the brandy-making process, from grape selection to distillation and aging.
We will conclude the day with a traditional dinner.
