Day 6 - Hike to the Gegharot Waterfall

Nestled amidst the slopes of Aragats Mount, the Gegharot Waterfall is a breathtaking sight to behold. Flowing along the Kasagh River’s own stream, it stands tall at a lofty 3000 meters above sea level. Just a short 12-kilometer journey from the quaint village of Aragats, this natural wonder captivates with its seasonal dance. In winter, it transforms into a frozen wonderland, while in summer, its cool waters cascade gracefully from a height of approximately 17 meters. Gegharot is a cherished gem among Armenia’s natural treasures, earning its place as one of the country’s esteemed natural wonders.
