A journey into history awaits at the mysterious cave village of Khndzoresk, a unique open-air museum where centuries-old cave dwellings are carved into the cliffs. A spectacular suspension bridge connects the two sides of the gorge, offering stunning panoramic views. Until the 1950s, Khndzoresk was still inhabited, but in 1958, Soviet authorities relocated its residents to a newly built village above the original settlement. Today, the abandoned caves stand as silent witnesses to a once-thriving way of life.

The journey concludes in the historic city of Goris, one of Armenia’s oldest towns, famous for its dramatic rock formations, ancient cave dwellings, and 19th-century stone houses with red roofs. Located at 1,385 meters above sea level, Goris blends rich cultural heritage, Soviet-era influences, and breathtaking landscapes, making it a must-visit destination.
